作為一個資深桌遊玩家，和各式各樣的人玩過不同類型遊戲，見證着一對又一對的情侶由互不相識，到漸漸發展為情人，有些更已步入教堂… 甚至連小編我亦是因為桌遊聚會而與另一半結緣
那桌遊脫單是truth or myth?
當然是truth啦！但為何桌遊有如此大的魅力？等我們一起來研究研究～
桌遊是一個非常好的社交工具
– 玩桌遊強調的是需要面對面互動及溝通，在遊玩過程中一定要和其他玩家們不斷溝通，就不怕沒有話題而感到尷尬。遊戲完後更可以和對方討論遊戲過程而打開話題
 
桌遊可製造良好的第一印象
– 只要選對的遊戲，如聚會型遊戲等（不是像狼人殺那種互相攻擊的遊戲），就可以在遊戲過程中在談吐，幽默感方面展現個人魅力及紳士風度，打做最好的第一印象
 
桌遊可在無形中拉近距離
– 剛相識很難找話題，但玩桌遊當中可利用桌遊轉移注意力，毫無違和地拉近距離。

‘我哋今round 先合作搞咗佢間鐵路公司先，我擋住佢，到你嘅時候你就放你塊版喺上面等佢冇得連住起，否則佢獨大一齊輸’
自然又不突兀，玩完後有因為遊戲中的互動就不會覺得那麼生疏

Does playing board games help you to find love？
As an experienced board gamer who has been playing all kinds of board games with all kinds of people, I have witnessed how couples have gone from strangers to gradually becoming an item. Some couples I know have even walked down the aisle… Even I, have met my other half from a gaming gathering.
So, is finding true love through board games a truth or myth?
Of course truth! But why does board gaming have such powers? Let’s look closely together~
Board gaming is a good socializing tool
– Board gaming emphasizes on face-to-face interaction and communication. It is a must for players to communicate with each other, therefore, running out of topics to talk about will not happen because of the gameplay. You can even discuss about the game after. 
 
Board gaming allows you to give a good first impression
– As long as you are playing the right games such as party games (specifically not games like werewolf where you have to attack each other), then it will be easy to show your charm through talking, humor etc. to bring out a good impression.

 

Board gaming allows you to get closer

– It is difficult to find something to chat about when you first meet someone. However, board games can divert your focus, naturally pulling you closer to one another.
‘He made you lose money the last round, this round I will take revenge for you.’
‘Let’s work together this round and ruin his railway track. I will block his way and when it’s your turn, put your tile on top. Otherwise he’s gonna win soon. ’
Very natural without being awkward and it is also easy to talk after the game
